Plans are currently underway for the 19th annual Greater Scranton Jaycees Santa Parade, which will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 9 AM.   2011 Grand Marshal Tim Ruddy, Scranton and Dunmore native and NFL superstar is proud to be back home serving as the 2011 Grand Marshal.       Santa’s Little Helper Contest   The Grater Scranton Jaycees Santa Parade Committee proudly announces its Santa’s Little Helper contest for lucky children to ride with Santa in this year’s parade! This year 4 Lucky children were chosen at the Mall at Steamtown to ride with Santa during the Parade.     Mike Gallacher Santa Committee, Robin Luchko Santa Committee, Thomas Fritz Santa Committee  Brooke Manley, Caleb Rixford, Edison Perez, Nestor Chalarca       Santa’s Special Mail Corps   Santa knows how important it is for you to get you Christmas list into his hands. That’s why Santa will be picking up your letters at the Greater Scranton Jaycees Santa Parade on November 19, 2001. Just bring your letter to Santa to the parade and Santa’s Special Mail Corps will be walking with him to collect your letters. Since Santa is picking them up personally, no postage stamps are necessary. So make sure you come to Downtown Scranton on Saturday, November 19th to give your list to Santa!
